Salt Water Aquatic Therapy - Stoughton
Aquatic Therapy intervention is for all ages, diagnoses, and conditions. We have the only warm salt water pool in a 10 mile radius. Excellent intervention for numerous health conditions. Water therapy has been shown to help reduce joint pain, stiffness, muscle spasms, and improve overall functional mobility and activities to resume land based exercises with less difficulty. Some of the conditions treated are back pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, lymphedema, systemic lupus erythematosus, post-op surgeries, fusions, fractures, Achilles tendon ruptures and repairs, hamstring injuries, lower extremity injuries and many more.

Data indicates that the aquatic exercise group improved more rapidly than the land-based exercise. Aquatics may provide advantages for rapid return to athletic activities and be recommended for the initial phase of a rehabilitation program.
